Hello and welcome to Kindergarten! My name is April Clos and I am excited to be teaching kindergarten! This is my fourth year here at Huron Academy. I recently celebrated my third anniversary with my husband, Jason, and we have two cats: Wrigley and Riley.
I am a graduate from Oakland University with a Bachelor degree in Elementary Education, and I am currently enrolled in the Masters program with Early Childhood Education as my main focus.
I believe that every child has the potential to learn and that children learn through hands-on experiences. With a partnership amongst us, I hope that we can bring joy to your child’s learning adventure. Also, by enriching your child in literature, and learning concepts through play and socialization, we will see your child grow and be nurtured in many ways.
