I would like to introduce myself to you. I am the music teacher at HuronAcademy. This past school year, I enthusiastically enjoyed teaching your children music. My music educational background is as follows: I’ve graduated from MacombCommunity College, OaklandUniversity and the University of Phoenix with an Associate, Bachelors and a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education, May of 2007. I have also had additional professional educational training in music education from the Chicago Suzuki Institute where I received certification in teaching music at three different levels. I have attended many music camps and had a wide variety of experience in creatively learning and teaching music to nurture the child’s musical ability. I’ve been in music workshops with well known authors of music education such as Barbara Rubenstein who taught me valuable music strategies. My own personal musical background includes lessons from professional musicians of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra as well as many professional international musicians. I will continue to share my personal ideas and valuable learning and working experiences with your children while teaching music here at HuronAcademy.
