My name is Carol Schrage and this is my eighth year teaching at Huron Academy.  Before coming to Huron Academy, I taught for three years at a parochial school in Detroit.  I hold a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University in elementary education with minors in English and science.  I also earned a master’s degree in teaching with a focus on reading and language arts from Oakland University.  I have the honor of being nominated for Michigan Teacher of the Year for 2007.
