My name is Elizabeth Wolfenden, and this is my sixth year teaching computers at Huron Academy. After having my second child last year, I started working part-time and now teach computers to only the fifth and sixth grades as well as a couple first grade classes. In addition to teaching computers, I also act as Huron's librarian as well.
I graduated from Oakland University in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. However, I was always extremely interested in technology and took several computer classes upon graduation. I then went back in 2003 and received an Advanced Microcomputer Applications certificate from Oakland University's graduate program. I am now finishing up my Masters degree in Counseling at Oakland University as well.
Since I am part-time and am not at Huron every day, the best way to get ahold of me is through email at wolfendene@huronacademy.org. I check email everyday (even on the days I'm not working) and will respond as quickly as possible.
