Second Grade Teacher
Hello! My name is Sundae Peterson. This is my first year at Huron Academy, but my 21st year teaching. I graduated from Central Michigan University (a very long time ago 😀) with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Early Childhood and Mathematics. I have taught grades Kdg, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 8th throughout my teaching career.
My husband, children and I moved to the Macomb County area in June 2023, after living in Frankenmuth for 13 years. I have two sons and a daughter. We have two cats and one dog. They are extremely spoiled by Mr. Peterson.
During my free time, I enjoy reading on my kindle, doing anything that involves enjoying the sunshine, photography, traveling, watching college football, hockey & volleyball, and most importantly, spending time with my family and close friends.
