Kindergarten Teacher

My name is Mrs. Jill Tanalski. This is my eleventh year at Huron Academy; my tenth teaching kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten.  I am excited to be teaching our transitional kindergarten students once again! I love being a part of Huron’s vibrant learning community. Before joining the Huron Academy, I attended the University of Michigan  receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.

My classroom is an engaging, supportive learning environment where students feel safe and not only gain knowledge, but develop a life-long love of learning.  All students have the ability to learn. Through self-led, structured activities my students gain knowledge, confidence and independence in learning.
