Mrs. Becker

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Becker, and I have been a part of Huron Academy since 2014. I earned my degree from the University of Detroit Mercy and feel incredibly fortunate to spend each day helping young learners grow in confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Huron Academy is especially meaningful to me because not only do I teach here, but both of my children have attended the school. Being both a teacher and a parent in this community has given me a deep appreciation for the supportive, family-centered environment we share.

I strive to create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn. Watching my students build friendships, discover new skills, and celebrate their successes is the most rewarding part of being a teacher. I look forward to partnering with families to make each child’s kindergarten year a positive and memorable experience.
