Title I Teacher

Hi parents,

My name is Tracie McCauley.  I am the new Title One teacher at Huron Academy.  I am excited to be working with your child in small groups this year to help build reading and comprehension skills.  

Prior to joining the team at Huron Academy, I taught first grade and kindergarten in a Montessori school, where I developed a love of a hands-on student led learning approach. I hope to utilize these activities and skills as I work with your child.  

During the time your child works with me we will work on phonics skills, phonemic awareness, sight words, reading, comprehension, grammar, and writing.  We will use a variety of methods to find the approach that works best for each individual child.
