Mr. Johnson

Mr. Johnson serves as Dean of Students and Athletic Director at Huron Academy. This will be his eighth year working in education and first at Huron Academy. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Madonna University.

Mr. Johnson has worked in a couple of different schools previously in a variety of different capacities. He has experience in enrollment management, fundraising, marketing, athletics, and most recently as Dean of Students. Additionally, he has experience in the classroom developing and teaching an introductory technology curriculum.

Mr. Johnson also has extensive coaching experience of boys and girls sports ranging from instructional level athletics to high school varsity basketball. In March 2025, his varsity boys basketball team won the MHSAA Division 3 State Championship.

He is deeply passionate about building relationships with students, parents, and the community at large.

Whether in school, on the court, or on the field, his mission is the same: create an environment where young people can grow, challenge themselves, and discover their potential.
