SchoolMessenger is used by Huron Academy to send district and building communications. These communications include general announcements, emergency broadcasts, unexcused absence notifications, weekly newsletters, and more!
Parents with actively enrolled students are automatically subscribed to SchoolMessenger based on the information submitted at time of enrollment and annual verification. To update your phone or email address, please contact the front office.
The methods of communication via SchoolMessenger are email, phone calls, and text messages. Most messages are sent as emails only. The phone calls and text messages are reserved for more urgent communications.

How do I get added to SchoolMessenger?
All Huron Academy parents are automatically added to SchoolMessenger when you enroll at Huron Academy. We take the primary email address and phone number listed. You will need to sign up manually to receive text message notifications. Please see below.
Where do I update or verify my phone and email address?
Please contact the front office at Metro or Utica. We only use the primary email address and phone number when communicating from SchoolMessenger. Verify the information is accurate. Changes may take up to 24 hours to apply.
Why am I not receiving any SchoolMessenger emails from Huron Academy?
The first thing you should do is check your spam/junk email folder. Next, verify the primary email address is correct with the front office. You can also add noreplyhacademy@huronacademy.org to your address book or safe sender list. If you feel that you may have accidentally unsubscribed, see the option below for how to resubscribe. If you continue having trouble receiving emails from the district, another option is to change your primary email with the front office to a completely different account.
How do I unsubscribe?
At the bottom of any message from SchoolMessenger, you will see a unsubscribe link. Click on it and follow the instructions to confirm you want to unsubscribe.
How do I resubscribe?
Find a previous Huron Academy SchoolMessenger email sent to you and click on the unsubscribe link at the very bottom. That will bring up your current SchoolMessenger preferences. Otherwise, you'll need to contact huronhuskies@huronacademy.org with Resubscribe in the subject line.
How do I receive text messages?
