Mr. Johnson
Dean of Students and Athletic Director
Mr. Johnson serves as Dean of Students and Athletic Director at Huron Academy. He has been at Huron Academy since the 2025-2026 school year. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Madonna University.
Mr. Johnson brings a diverse background in education, having served in multiple schools in a variety of leadership and operational roles. His experience includes serving as Dean of Students, leading enrollment initiatives, overseeing fundraising and marketing efforts, and directing athletic programs. In addition to his leadership experience, he has taught in the classroom, where he developed and delivered an introductory technology curriculum.
Mr. Johnson also has extensive coaching experience of boys and girls sports ranging from instructional level athletics to high school varsity basketball. In March 2025, his high school varsity boys basketball team won the MHSAA Division 3 State Championship.
Mr. Johnson now coaches several of our teams at Huron Academy, including boys soccer and boys basketball.
He is deeply passionate about building relationships with students, parents, and the community at large.
Whether in school, on the court, or on the field, his mission is the same: create an environment where young people can grow, challenge themselves, and discover their potential.
