Second Grade Teacher
I am an experienced educator with a passion for helping students develop a love for learning, especially in the area of reading. I have had the privilege of teaching most grades in elementary, middle, and high school, allowing me to understand and meet the diverse needs of learners. Over the years, I have served as a teacher, mentor, academic specialist, and director, gaining valuable insight into supporting student growth at all levels. I hold a Master’s in Reading Specialist from Northern Michigan University, where I deepened my understanding of literacy instruction and intervention strategies. My passion for reading drives me to create engaging and supportive environments where students can thrive as confident, lifelong readers. I am excited to begin my journey as a 2nd grade teacher at Huron Academy and look forward to building strong relationships with the Huron Academy Huskies community!
