Special Education Teacher

My name is Amanda Palmer and I am excited to be starting my ninth year at Huron Academy! I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and my Master’s degree in Special Education. Before joining Huron Academy, I taught in a self-contained classroom and also worked part-time in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) while staying home with my own children.

My husband and I have been married for 17 years and we have a 14 year old son (Carter), an 11 year old daughter (Collins), and a dog named Aubie.

I’m looking forward to another great year at Huron Academy!
