K-2 Music Teacher
Hello, I am Paul Perrin. I am the kindergarten – second-grade music teacher. This will be my fourth year as a teacher here at Huron Academy. I have worked in schools for over ten years. I have been a reading assistant and math tutor in grades k-6. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade. During all of this time, I have found that students learn best in play. In music, we will learn rhythm, pitch, and basic music theory using movement, games, and playing rhythm instruments. By learning music, students learn to be more creative, problem-solvers, and work with a group.
