Mrs. Qushku

Middle School Teacher

Hello! My name is Beatrice Qushku, and I’m happy to start another year at Huron Academy, where I teach eighth grade ELA.

My path in education has taken me across countries and languages. I grew up in Albania, spent several years in Italy, and later returned to Albania to complete my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in teaching Albanian Language and Arts. I taught middle and high school students before moving to Michigan, where I earned certification to teach Secondary English Language and Arts through a program at Oakland University. I also hold a certification in Italian, and I enjoy sharing the language and culture with my students.

All of these experiences have helped me grow as a teacher and as a person. I enjoy working with students and supporting them as they learn, build confidence, and discover more about the world and themselves.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being in nature, reading, painting, cooking, and listening to music.

If you have any questions or would like to connect, feel free to reach out to me at qushkub@huronacademy.org
