Middle School Teacher
Hello! My name is Beatrice Qushku. I will be teaching 6th grade ELA, World Cultures and Intro to Italian to middle school students at Huron Academy. I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in teaching Secondary Albanian Language and Arts and have taught this subject in Albania to middle and high school students. I lived in Italy for many years, becoming fluent in Italian and obtaining certification in the language. I am also certified in teaching English in secondary education after completing a post-bachelor English program at Oakland University. On weekends, I teach Albanian to children and adults in a local Albanian community center. My passion for teaching comes from the desire to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, listening to music, cooking, and painting.
