Hello, my name is Tamera (Tammy) Sharma.

I graduated from Central Michigan University (CMU)  the spring of 2019 with a degree in Elementary Education with a focus in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) . During time at CMU I studied abroad in South Korea, participated in multicultural activities on campus. Prior to completing my degree I interned in a first grade classroom in Mt. Pleasant as well as in Battle Creek as an ESL teacher.

After three years working at Huron Academy, it continues to be my first choice for its knowledgeable teachers, and wonderful families.

In my free time I enjoy broadening my knowledge of the world through traveling and cooking new cuisines. Additionally, I love spending time outdoors biking, hiking among other things.
