A Message from Mr. Sobczak

Huron Academy Families,

It’s hard to believe that in a few days we will be starting a new school year – the summer is never long enough! That being said, after our successful open house events that gave us the opportunity to see our awesome students once more, our staff is immensely excited for another year of fun, engaging, and character-building education.

As mentioned in my welcome letter a few weeks ago, we have new staff, new programs, and new times, but by and large the same Huron Academy you have all come to know is here to serve our families. Every single decision made is one with the best interest of our kids at the forefront of our mind, and our staff has been hard at work to ensure this school year is one of the best yet.

The return to school can be stressful for parents and students alike, with new routines and lots of structure appearing suddenly after a long and relaxing summer. As such, make sure to get some rest over Labor Day weekend, get your backpacks and shoes ready sooner rather than later, and remember that a good breakfast (and some coffee for parents!) can set the tone for the rest of the day.

We are so excited to officially kickoff the year, and look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces on Tuesday, September 5th.

Sincerely,

Joshua Sobczak
